Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager from a hotel or quality restaurant background to join the small and friendly team at an exciting time of developing the resort further.

 

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will be great with people and demonstrate a passion for food and drink. You will support the Operations and General Manager and form a senior member of the management team.   You will have direct responsibility for the Restaurant and the team in additional to Duty Management shifts

Deputy Catering Manager – Independent School – Bristol – Days Only

This is a great opportunity to join a leading player in the contract catering field, specialising in the independent school sector.
We are currently looking to appoint a Deputy Catering Manager to join a leading independent school close to central Bristol.
The Deputy Manager will support the existing Catering Manager in all aspects of running this busy operation on a day to day basis. Catering for in excess of 500 people a day, the departments needs to be highly organised and proactive to ensure consistency of service.
Our client is ideally looking for someone who has experience in contract catering for schools but will consider candidates with a background in hotels and restaurants. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop a small team, manage back of house procedures such as H&S, training, ordering and management of stock and basic financials.
This particular contract is Monday to Friday, daytime hours with the occasional weekend and evening need. During school holidays this person will be expected to assist at other venues as required.
Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary in the region of £26,000 plus company benefits and the opportunity to potentially develop with this client on a long term basis.
